As an experienced educator myself, I know that schools can be busy and overwhelming places to work. With many competing demands and expectations to individualise the learning experience for students with a wide range of abilities and behaviours, catering to every child in your classroom can feel like a mammoth task. Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, new to teaching, a school leader wanting to upskill your staff, or simply want a deeper understanding of your students with additional needs, The Breehive is here to help. Below are just some examples of the services I can provide to individual teachers or groups of educators.

· peer mentoring on behaviour support strategies and implementing appropriate adjustments for students with additional needs
· using a strengths-based, positive approach to understanding diagnoses and neurodiversity
· support completing questionnaires relating to student diagnoses from specialists, psychologists, paediatricians, guidance officers or medical/allied health professionals
· professional development sessions focusing on neurodiversity, how it impacts student learning and behaviour, and how to implement effective adjustments at school
· assistance with making sense and identifying practical implications of reports from medical and/or allied health professionals (e.g., psychologist, occupational therapist)
· support in developing your understanding of school documentation obligations and government reporting (e.g., collecting and managing evidence for the NCCD, applying for AARA) and their associated metalanguage so you feel empowered in discussions
· recommendations on where to access resources to support students and what resources may be most helpful
· peer mentoring in preparation for difficult meetings with parents and staff
· support and guidance with maintaining, implementing and updating documentation such as Personalised Learning Plans, Individual Curriculum Plans and Behaviour Support Plans, etc.
- support and creating a plan of action to manage difficult behaviours
